SCAD collaborated with GE Transportation to assist in the research and development of concepts for improving daily workflow. The proposed concept is an immersive experience for data management for locomotive transportation. Within this holistic experience, GE is reimagining how day to day operations and data visualization are fused together for greater efficiency, time management and improved performance.
This project prepared me for professional careers by enhancing my collaboration expertise through projects with external partners. Under the expert guidance of SCAD faculty, students refine their effective communication, efficient management, adaptive thinking and creative problem-solving skills by working collaboratively with peers from multiple disciplines to research, develop and conceptualize creative solutions for design challenges.
